Many lone soldiers will remain on base protecting Israel
While their friends return home to celebrate with their families, many lone soldiers will spend the holiday on military bases, at remote posts, and on guard duty.
There will be no family waiting for them.
No mother preparing their favorite meal.
No warm holiday table, full refrigerator, or familiar bed to come home to.
Many of these young men and women left their families, friends, and lives in the United States and around the world to come to Israel and serve in the IDF. They chose to be there for Israel.
Now it is our turn to be there for them.

These soldiers serve through long days, difficult training, extreme heat, cold nights, and demanding shifts.
Many have not seen their parents or families for months — and some for years.
When they are finally able to leave the base, many return to a small apartment or an empty room.
There may be no family waiting, no holiday meal, and sometimes not enough money to fill the refrigerator or purchase basic clothing and personal items.
This Rosh Hashanah, we want every lone soldier to receive one important message:
You may be far from home, but you are not alone.

Every package will be delivered directly to IDF bases in cooperation with commanders in the field and the Association for the Wellbeing of Israel’s Soldiers in northern Israel.
